Happy Mother's Day Y'all!!
Mark just emailed me this picture he took in
King Cove. Isn't that awesome!!!!! Thanks Mark. I beat you to using
this. Kind of sorry.
Mark's still in Sand Point and is trying to hop a ferry home, which will take close to 2 days. It's blowing 40 knots out there and so it will be a rough ride for sure. Can't wait for him to be home.
This morning I was thinking about all my mama cats. I want to thank them all publicly now too: so thank you Quarduple Grand Champion Djuna of Fresh Rexes. I miss you terribly still, but know that you are having a great life with Ruth in Anchorage and Ting and the Alien. June was my first queen, a black smoke. She gave us lots of babies, including my current queen Triple Grand Champion Fresh Rexes Scarlett. She's also a champion in CFA, but she's only been to one show as an adult in CFA. Our Alaska Club is TICA. Scarlett aka Teeny is a great mom too, just like June was. So thank you soooo much Teeny.
I have a Supreme Grand Champion too, Photofaces My Shadow Rose, who LOVES to be shown but didn't so much like to be a mama. So she's here with me now and forever, being our crazy Shib. Mark thinks that blue cats are the blonds of the cat world. I guess I would have to agree, now that I have my first oriental shorthair girl, Zeedaz Blue Velvet aka Beave. Beave is now 6 weeks pregnant and going to have beautiful children from Champion Bua Luang Lang. I cannot wait to see her babies. Thank you Beave for the children inside you!!
Soon we will be getting a new stud here at Fresh Rexes, a gorgeous blue point mink from Anna and Stacy at Gentry in California. His name is Burberry Blue. Kind of a mouthful, but we'll work on a nickname soon. He will be coming at the end of the month if everything goes as planned.
And of course I want to thank my real mom in Denver, who I already talked to today. And my mother in law Jeanice in Texas, who is the best mother in law ever!!! And Lois for giving birth to me. Thanks all.
Thanks too to Mark for knocking me up so I can be a mom too. Now we're going to paint Aidan's room. XXX
